I’m just a small town girl but not born and raised in south Detroit! {If you’re a Journey fan, you’ll understand!}
Like you I have many passions, interests and loves in my adventurous life. I am a mama to a growing family, a fur mama, a nurse, and a craft-beer kinda girl.
When I am not living the nurse life, you can find me lakeside running around barefoot & daydreaming in my garden. I enjoy hiking in the woods as much as a rainy day cozied up by a fire. I love a good glass of wine {almost} as much as a hot mug of tea. I love listening to music while dancing in the kitchen with my babies. I love early morning kayaking & sunset bonfires with good friends. I am always up for a great adventure.

I strive to capture raw emotion during a session and limit posed photographs because, well, it doesn’t seem natural to you either! I believe everything in life is an adventure so you might see that I refer to most sessions as “an adventure.” The outdoors is my photography studio but I also love to visit you at home and capture you and your family where you feel the most comfortable.
I am a perfectionist in life but it’s just not my thing when it comes to a session. Bring on the imperfect moments that make for the most memorable photographs. I want to make your time with me feel relaxed, fun and natural while capturing your timeless moments.
